Aside from Xperia S, to follow is the Xperia P and Xperia U which will also be launched later this year. Since these three (Xperia S, P and U) has some similarities especially at first look, this article will give you a back-to-back, specs by specs comparison of the three. Take a look first at the slides below for the comparison of the three units.

CAMERA
The camera of a Xperia Nxt phone is pretty impressive knowing that it is one of the greatest functionality Sony has improved in the series. Xperia Nxt phones are distinguishable by its tall, edgy, and sleek design with big screen that is really stunning due to its clarity. It has scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen that can burst for up to16 million colours!
Xperia S is measuring 128.0 x 64.0 x 10.6 mm and 5.0 x 2.5 x 0.4 inches and has 3.5 inch screen size (1280 x 720 pixels).
Xperia P roughly has 122 x 59.5 x 10.5 mm and 4.8 x 2.3 x 0.4 inches with 4 inch scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen (960 x 540 pixels).
Xperia U, not so far behind is measuring 112 x 54 x 12 mm and 4.4 x 2.1 x 0.5 inches with 3.5 inch scratch-resistant TFT touchscreen (854 x 480 pixels).
Xperia S has an industry-standard talk time of up to 8 hours 30 minutes which is equivalent to 420 hours standby time or 25 hours of listening music.
Xperia P can stand up for 6 hours of talk time (GSM) that is equivalent to 475 hours standby time (UMTS) or 80 hours of listening music or 4 hours of straight video playback.
Xperia U has talk time of up to 6 hours and 36 minutes (GSM) and standby time of up to 472 hours (UMTS) equivalent to 45 hours of listening music or 6 hours of straight video playback.

SMART RATING
In terms of smart rating, Xperia S, so far has gained 42.0, fair enough, rating. Smart rating is based on a combination of expert ratings from outside sources and a quantitative rating based on factors like battery life or camera capabilities, etc. It is the same as when you give 0-5 stars on a phone you hate or like. We'll see later if Xperia P and Xperia U can surpass this current smart rating.
Xperia S as mentioned above will be released this mid of April with SRP of Php 27,990. Xperia P and Xperia U is set to release this mid of May with SRP of Php 22,990 and Php 13,990 respectively.
