LinkedIn, the largest online social network for professionals, has just reached 1 million Filipino members last week according to Cliff Rosenberg, Managing director (LinkedIn Austrlia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia).
LinkedIn reached 1 million filipino users
LinkedIn is currently maintaining 150 million members (and counting), providing a strong network for professionals in finding job, gaining and sharing insights and growing their business.

While the current number of Filipinos who use LinkedIn only reflects a very small number of Filipinos who are actually looking for their job in either domestic or foreign employment, LinkedIn has all the tools and an active network to provide a reliable platform every for Filipino professionals can use to find their dream job and at the same time, connect with their co-workers and co-professionals and even those people of their interest. LinkedIn is also a site where you can get different events, job offerings and other opportunities straight from the professionals and big companies worldwide.

Filipinos should try considering LinkedIn as the base tool in showcasing their professional profile (resume) especially if they are looking for jobs online.
