As soon as I've learned that Intel Philippines is currently running a roadshow for their Intel-inspired Ultrabooks, I made a mark in my calendar as to when I could have a visit in one of their venues. Thanks to the Independence Day celebration, which is a non-working holiday to most of us, I able to have a free day to spree with my friends at SM City North EDSA!

'A New Breed Of Wow' Roadshow at SM North EDSA
I've been curious about these new breed of portable computers lately--as they say, "It's neither a laptop nor a notebook but an Ultrabook!" I've been fascinating them that I  always look for some reviews of it and read a whole article about it whenever I have my free time! And before I forgot, I did even promoted them here in my site for some times.

So I went to SM City North EDSA this last Independence Day to hang out with my friends and brought them to the roadshow. We've had a little fun there simply because it's not the typical roadshow we used to visit where we see and have a little hands-on of the gadgets but organizers have also prepared games wherein we were able to easily familiarize the different ultrabook brands, a bit of their standard specifications and a 'slim' chance of having them as we go through the different challenges of the game!

I don't want this post to go into that much details about what we did there as you might find it a spoiler--so you really have to visit one of their roadshows if you're curious enough to learn--but instead, I will leave some photos of our experience here for you to enjoy and to give you ideas how it's fun to visit their roadshows.

Have you already visited 'A new Breed of wow' roadshow too? Share your experiences and thoughts from the event at the comment section. If you want to know more about this event, just click here.

2NE1's BE MINE MUSIC VIDEO W/ ENGLISH LYRICS

[Minzy]
Though you’re always cold
Though your words are always short,I know
Don’t hide what your heart’s striving for

[CL]
Now,you’ve already hid for so long
Show me your sincerity
That it’s only me for you

[Dara]
All i wanna do is just be with you
Even if time passes by don’t fade away

[Minzy]
Hold on to this moment
This is what i’ve been waiting

[Bom]
So just shut up and be mine
Don’t wait any longer
It comes with no voice,it’s a love that goes
I’m afraid that it might disappear

[CL]
So just shut up and be mine
It’s here in front of me
Dont hesitate, grab my hands right now
We’ll make it through anything you’re the one i’ve been

[Dara]
All i wanna do is just be with you
Even if time passes by,dont fade away

[Minzy]
Hold on to this moment
This is what i’ve been waiting

[Bom]
So just shut up and be mine
Don’t wait any longer
It comes with no voice,it’s a love that goes
I’m afraid that it might disappear

[CL]
So just shut up and be mine
It’s here in front of me
Dont hesitate, grab my hands right now
We’ll make it through anything you’re the one i’ve been

[Bom]
Waiting for so long so long so long
Wanna be in your arms your arms
You’re in my dreams for so long

[Minzy]
Under the blue sky,
Im free like a bird
I wanna go higher and further
Only if you’ll be with me

[Bom]
So just shut up and be mine
Don’t wait any longer
It comes with no voice,it’s a love that goes
I’m afraid that it might disappear

[CL]
So just shut up and be mine
It’s here in front of me
Dont hesitate, grab my hands right now
We’ll make it through anything you’re the one i’ve been
Waiting for so long

Why common? I say so because intel-powered ultrabooks are truly affordable considering the overall package that includes the beauty (ultra thin and ultra sleek), and power (response in a flash and long lasting) in it. Not to mention the Smart Response and Smart Connect technology that quickly recognizes and stores your most frequently used files and applications where you can access them right away and allows you get friends updates and latest news around the web quickly and on-the-go. Even some of the intel-powered ultrabooks features the Anti-theft technology that helps you protect data by disabling your ultrabook in case it is stolen or lost from anywhere in the world and when it is returned, it can be easily reactivated without harm to your data or digital content!

Meanwhile, the fans of Intel in southeast Asia has just reached 1 million (1,010,065 to be exact) today according to a post in Intel Philippines. Here are the current numbers of the number of likes of their individual facebook page as of May 9, 2012.

As far as I can remember, this is the second time that Intel has picked a K-pop artist to promote their products. Last year, their iCore series (i3, i5 and i7) microchips was released and successfully promoted by Girls Generation through their Visual Dreams. Will the 2NE1 collaboration likewise be successful? The answer is in the hands of their fans - find out starting tomorrow when they release their commercial movie!

For now you can take a look at these campaign posters and the teaser of the "Make Noise" CM.
