But for now, all what's surrounding in the internet are just teasers and leaked images of the said unit. Check out later for more information 'cause we'll surely have it covered!

WHAT DOES THE EXPERTS AND USERS SAY ABOUT GALAXY TAB 7.7?

The statements below are taken from the top mobile review sites and selected users about their views, impressions and experiences in using Samsung Galaxy Tab7.7:

SlashGear

"If you’ve tried a 10-inch tablet and you find it sort of absurd, but still want a display larger than your everyday average smartphone, take a peek at this tablet at your local Verizon outlet. It’s certainly an entertaining device to play with."

Engadget

"Putting it bluntly, the 7.7 is the best 7-inch tablet money can buy: it performs well, offers a stunning screen and manages to deliver twice the battery life of other small tablets, despite being markedly thinner."

"The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has got almost everything right: it's a great size, it's lightweight, plus has terrific battery life, a fast processor, and a gorgeous display. It is Honeycomb that hampers the Tab 7.7 almost to the point of rendering it unusable at times."

"love it beautiful machine. still has some software issues very expensive but i needwd this form factor. shame it doesnt do pockets but i had the original 7. and device blows everything away. the screen is amazing. some issues are the software is not consitent, and the market doesnt have apps to..." - bzelealem

"I really enjoy this tablet! The size is perfect to fit in your suit coat pocket and back pocket of your pants!" - td2gdgt

"There isn't much to not like here except perhaps for Honeycomb. Samsung's TouchWiz makes the device easier to use, but I'm looking forward to the ICS upgrade. The display is superb as is the 1.4 GHz dual-core Samsung chip. I've benchmarked it against most recent Android tablets " - KevinCTofel

There's going to have a price mark down in some Samsung mobile products that's for sure will relieve the scorching heat of summer!

Samsung Galaxy SII

As announced by Samsung Mobile Philippines today, a comparatively large price tag slash will be applied to selected Samsung mobile products and it starts with Samsung Galaxy SII which is one of the best Android phone in the market.

From 29,990 pesos, the handset is now only 24,990 pesos- that's minus 5,000 pesos in your pocket and you'll have this incredible phone already!

As I can't give you ideas how incredible is this phone because I haven't really seen and touched one, I decided to pick some of the statements from reviews and impressions from known mobile reviews sites and users who actually got experienced with the handset:

SlashGear

"Samsung Galaxy S II could very well be the best Android smartphone on the market today. The display with Super AMOLED Plus technology that manages to be both frugal and visible outdoors, while the dual-core 1.2GHz processor does a similar balancing act with power use and performance"

CNET

"The Samsung Galaxy S II ranks as one of T-Mobile's most powerful and feature-rich Android smartphones, but it's somewhat pricey."

GSM Arena

"Absurdly powerful and having a one-of-a-kind screen – the Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II is an easy phone to recommend. But that’s one thing you don’t need to do. Its reputation precedes it. The Galaxy II succeeds where previous dual-core droids have failed and provides the most complete smartphone..."

So what exactly other users say about this unit? Read he following statements below from certified Samsung Galaxy SII users who have a long experience using the said unit:

"This is a SOLID contender to the iPhone 4 and beats it in several categories. This phone is WAY faster than the iPhone 4, it's thinner, lighter, and feels more durable. The ONLY thing this phone could use is a bump in resolution and better battery life. The latter can come with a firmware.." - NotHotWater.

"If you don't want to read the rest, here's my three word review: Awesome User Experience. This is a great phone and the universal praise in every review will already tell you that so I'm not going to regurgitate everything about the screen and the speed and the camera, because you can already..." - Musketeer.

"Wow, all I can say is wow. After getting this phone. I have basically given up on my ipad. This thing is amazing" - rnbergren

Samsung Mobile SII's price drop is effective starting April 27. You can check out the unit and  other cool Samsung mobile products here.

Mobile Malware has been very alarming since that last quarter of 2011 and the number of 'unconcious' victims continue to rise towards the beginning of 2012. These malwares such as RuFraud and DroidDreamLight, two most popular malware variants, invade users’ privacy by stealing personal and other kinds of confidential information.

McAfee Labs comparative report about the number of victims of mobile malware attacks- Q2 2011

Before you become the next victim of mobile malware attacks,  it is necessary that you know these things you can do to dramatically reduce, if not completely iliminate, the risk of malware infections on your Android phone:
  • Use the official Android Market instead of third-party app stores or websites, especially now that Bouncer is used to monitor for malware. If you want to help ensure that you only install apps from Android Market, you can turn off the ability to install apps from unknown sources in by going to Settings and then to the Security menu (in Android 4.0 or later) or the Applications menu (in earlier versions of Android).
  • Research apps before downloading: Check the publisher and app reviews.
  • Pay attention to app permissions during the installation and check the market listing or developer for an explanation of any suspicious permissions.
  • Install an antivirus/security app.
  • Be wary of phishing scams and malware via the Web browser or SMS messages.
  • Be cautious if you root your device and keep an eye out for the Superuser prompts that are displayed when an app requests root permissions. Rooting allows you to use some powerful apps and even enhanced security functionality, but at the same time increases potential damage from infections.
  • To protect your Android device against local attacks -- a thief or snooper -- enable lock screen security (or, if you're one of the lucky few who already have Ice Cream Sandwich, you can test out the new Face Unlock feature.)
  • Finally, to prevent any malicious apps from sending messages to a number that will automatically charge your account, see if your wireless carrier can block the ability to sign up for premium SMS subscriptions.
