This year’s summer is definitely hotter than ever! But the sun’s heat couldn’t stop us from enjoying this season that only comes once a year. From visiting our home province or going to the other nearby to see beautiful nature-gift attraction to trying some adventures with friends such as biking, camping or mountaineering, down to exploring never before seen tourist destinations! Truly, there are a lot of exciting activities to do this summer!
No wonder why Nivea Philippines has listed 7 of the summer wonders in our country, to promote the must see places and so to attract local and foreign visitors to go to these places especially the current top seven summer wonders holder including Boracay Island - Aklan (1), El Nido - Palawan (2), Bohol - Bohol (3), Bellaroca - Marinduque (4), Coron - Palawan (5), Cebu - Cebu (6) and Siquijor - Siquijor (7).
Indeed, these places are very well-known to most of us, Filipinos, already. Maybe you’ve been to these places even more than once and you’re thinking “Yeah, have been there thrice already! Are there any new places I can check out?” Now that’s a good question because me too is thinking about other places that should be considered to be part of this list. Come on, of all the islands in our big, wide archipelago, there are always new and thrilling places to explore! Now it makes me wonder why one of my favorite summer destinations didn’t make it in the top 7 summer wonders list! Because I’m pretty convinced that it is one of the most beautiful places I have seen!
I’m talking about no other than CWC or the Camarines Sur Water Sports Complex, the one and only watersports park in the Philippines! Found inside the parameter of the capitol of Camarines Sur, this 6-hectare complex came out of the realization that one day, Cam Sur will become one of the major tourist spot in the Philippines especially during summer! Since the CWC was established, it attracted many tourists, most especially the water-sports enthusiasts coming from different parts of the world and it became one of the most preferred sites for different events in the country like the recently concluded ad congress!
All of CWC’s beauty displays the wonder of how this wide plain forested area became a world-class place for different water-sports activities in the Philippines and the world. The rooms and cottages, the pool, the restaurant and the wakeboarding facilities, CWC managed to make these complied with the world-class standards. And because more and more tourists choose this place to spend their summer vacation, year after year, Camarines Sur has been listed as top tourist destination in the Philippines next to Cebu and Baguio City.
