Android for developers has just recently released a report about the current landscape of distribution of android platforms that are running on different active devices to help developers target their application to specific android platform. The numbers or percentage of the sample only represents a relatively small amount of smartphone users who accessed Google Play within a given date (that is, a 14-day period ending on April 12).
